From Mining Dump Trucks to Tractors: A Business Mission to Factories in the Republic of Belarus
At the end of May 2026, Kalancha’s Business Development Manager, Sergey Sergeevich Kozlov, visited machine-building plants in Minsk and other cities. As part of the business mission, tours were held at both small enterprises and world-famous industrial giants:
-
BELAZ — the world leader in the production of large and ultra-large mining dump trucks. We saw the largest mining dump truck in the world; there are only four such units in existence.
-
MAZ — a manufacturer of trucks, dump trucks, buses, and other vehicles.
-
MTZ — one of the world’s largest producers of agricultural machinery, including Belarus tractors.
The delegation visited all assembly workshops, saw the entire manufacturing process firsthand, and assessed which areas require enhanced fire protection. After each tour, round-table meetings were held with the plant leadership: chief power engineers, chief designers, heads of procurement departments, design departments, industrial safety departments, and other key specialists. During the visit, Sergey Sergeevich delivered presentations on the Bizone automatic gas-powder fire suppression system and spoke about the advantages of the modules for protecting engine compartments, storage areas, and production lines.
Representatives of the Belarusian plants showed great interest in our technologies and actively discussed the nuances of installation and the technical parameters of Bizone automatic fire suppression systems for specific facilities. Sergey Sergeevich returned deeply impressed by the scale of Belarusian manufacturing.
We would like to thank the organizers for the high level of preparation of the business mission, the interesting tours, and the warm welcome. Special thanks to our Belarusian colleagues for their openness, professionalism, and willingness to cooperate.
