May 9: A Day of Remembrance, Patriotism, and Gratitude
This past weekend, our country celebrated Victory Day — a holiday filled not only with joy, but also with human sorrow. It is a day when we remember with deep gratitude those who gave us a peaceful sky above, and when we are reminded of the value of every day we live.
Sincere gratitude is expressed not only in words, but also in actions. That is why Lyubov Nikolaevna Kilchenko, Deputy General Director of Kalancha and a member of the Union of Women of Russia, could not remain on the sidelines. She supported the women’s movement of the All-Russian political party United Russia and took part in a moving flower-laying ceremony at the Eternal Flame — a symbol of everlasting memory of the heroism of the soldiers of the Great Patriotic War.
On this day, we feel acutely what patriotism truly means. It begins with respect for our history, with the ability to stand together and support one another. It is important not only to know the dates and events, but also to pass this memory on to future generations.
Thank you, dear veterans. We bow deeply to you. May the sky above us always remain peaceful, and may pride in the history of our great country live in our hearts forever.
