APGFSS with separate storage of powder-gas fire extinguishing components

System with separate powder tank and cylinders with liquid carbon acid.

The system is designed for automatic fire extinguishing in vertical steel tanks with stand-alone internal floating roof (VSTF) and without internal floating roof (VST). It is applied for protection of both separate tanks and groups of tanks of up to 20,000 m³. The system consists of main and spare batteries installed in one base.

The powder-gas fire-extinguishing system is placed outside a diked area. Connection of portable fire-fighting machinery is provided for. Foam is supplied through pipelines and nozzles for diffusion of gas-powder fire-extinguishing agents.
